Unimpressive food for the price. Used to be great but quality and quantity seem to not be a concern anymore. If you go there and expect to use your debit card, (which most of us do) don’t be surprised when the owner racks on a fee of about 1.50 for literally just using his debit card machine. All businesses have to pay for these transactions but he puts the expense on his customers. Never heard of another business doing this. Ever. I won’t be going back here or to Horizons deli, down the road which is owned by the same person and tacks on the same fee no matter how much you spend.

Had the classic Italian sandwich and wasn't impressed. First of all, very skimpy on the meat. There was not a lot of protein in the sandwich. The classic italian comes with pickles, banana peppers, and oil/vinegar dressing - it made the sandwich very briny, and the lack of meat further exacerbated the imbalance of flavors. The bread was decent, that's about it. Wasn't worth the $9 price tag.I moved to St. Johnsbury from the NYC area and have been looking for a quality deli for good italian sandwiches, sadly I haven't found it yet.

By far my favorite place to get something to eat. I tell everyone about it and often find my self there for a few hours if I have the time because the workers make you feel at home and are some of the nicest, funniest people I have ever met!

Ate there today. Although the sandwich was tasty, there was hardly any filling. 2 small pieces of rst beef, under ripe tomatoes, and 1 slice of cheese. The roll was good. There was even less filling in my friends sandwich. All an all, NOT worth the $9.00 price. Won't be going back.

I went in with my dog and waited for my sandwich. When it arrived, I was in midbite when I was told I had to leave. They made me leave without even letting me finish my sandwich. I had to go outside in the freezing weather and finish. Felt humiliated and like all my months of eating there meant nothing. They could have let me at least finish, a question of 2 or 3 minutes. I had been bringing my dog in with me for months with no comnent.

Although food is good they charge a 1.00 card service on 27.00$ orders during a pandemic when you should not use cash anyways 🤔Also masks are mandated in the state currently but none of the three people behind the plexi glass were wearing them in the air conditioned area.

I was in there 2 days ago n such fast service, friendly workers, n what a great lunch. Oh n if you want eat outside there are picnic tables, what a great addition.

there is a small fee on debit cards just to forewarn people. however, this place had not only good prices and good service, the food was incredible. highly recommend if your ever in the area.

The owner is rude, mouthy, disrespectful and conceited but the food is good and the majority of the rest of the staff are very polite and professional. Unfortunately with a boss like that this store probably will lose alot of business. Hopefully he stays out of the store because when his isn't there the atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. It gets quite busy during the school season because all the Academy kids come here to grab lunch and snacks in between classes and before and after school but that isn't enough to make me stay away. The owner on the other hand is. Honestly the owner probably doesn't care if he scares locals away because he knows he will make up for it with the students. Food is great and a good location.

Got subs from there with my mother and we were very pleased! Packed full of flavors and awesome bread. I would 100% recommend that everyone whose in the are or even passing by, try their food. The Firehouse sub is scrumptious.

I have not found a better sandwich shop on my travels. I go every time I'm in St. Johnsbury.
